We are pleased to present you with the fifth special edition newsletter on gender-based violence (GBV) prepared as part of the BRIDGE regional project. The BRIDGE project is implemented under the lead of Terre des hommes Regional Office for Europe together with five partners from Belgium (Defence for Children International DCI-Belgium and FEDASIL), Greece (ARSIS), Malta (Kopin) and Romania (Tdh Romania), and has the overall objective to strengthen the statutory response to gender-based violence affecting children and youth on the move in EU countries.
In this edition you can learn about the free materials that have been developed as part of the BRIDGE project, upcoming training opportunities, as well as other materials that you can access related to GBV.
Enrol for our free online course on GBV affecting children and youth on the move; open to all, you can find it on the childhub platform.
This course will also serve as the introduction to our second specialist training for care professionals on GBV affecting children and youth on the move, which will be conducted online using blended learning. The training will take place on the 15th and 22nd September – save the dates!
Access our library of webinars on GBV – during the project we have hosted a range of webinars from experts across the field; these are all still available in recorded form online and provide great learning opportunities. Some links to recent examples can be found below!
In the coming months, as part of BRIDGE, Kopin will be producing a number of free materials and hosting some safe social distanced activities in Malta related to GBV against children and youth on the move – look out for updates to make sure you don’t miss out!
