Reflecting on an extraordinary summer, we congratulate Claudio Camilleri and Patrick Tabone for the successful completion of the first ever ultra-run along all of Malta’s and Gozo’s coastlines on the 26th July. A grueling and exhausting run which was made even more challenging by the Maltese summer heat – what an incredible feat!
Their physical and mental strength is an inspiration for us to keep working even during tough and trying times, such as those we all have been experiencing over the past months.
We are immensely grateful to Claudio and Patrick for supporting us and our partners from the Jesuit Refugee Service Malta in providing asylum-seeking and refugee children and youth with tailor-made educational support programmes.
They have undoubtedly showcased that education, especially for more vulnerable children and youth, is a cause they strongly believe in.
The goal was set at €15,000 and was more than tripled – over €50,000 has now been collected.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to Claudio and Patrick and all their supporters for this amazing show of solidarity and support.
