Kopin is a member of Destination Unknown, a global network of organisations and young people committed to ensuring that the rights of children and young people on the move are respected and protected.
This network is led by Kopin’s close partner Terre des Hommes, which is one of the world’s biggest federations of organisations working for the rights and protection of children.
Our Vision and Work
Its vision is a world where children and young people on the move worldwide enjoy their human rights, are not discriminated against, thrive and have a future.
We believe that governments and practitioners working with children affected by migration should be guided by 9 principles. We know that won’t happen overnight, which is why we are engaged for the long haul.
To do that, we empower children, young people, their families and communities, learn from what works – and what children say works – and campaign for lasting change in their lives.
Our collaborative network brings together the people and organisations that enable the greatest impact for children on the move.
Our Role
Kopin is a Steering Group member of Destination Unknown Campaign. Also, together with our Lebanese partner Insan Association, we are coordinating the Euro-Med regional work of the campaign, covering both Europe and the MENA regions.
