Ambassadör Events presents the remarkable Finnish Toy Smuggler in aid of Kopin

An exclusive fundraiser at the prestigious Verdala Palace under the patronage of H.E. The President of Malta Ms Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca

On the 22nd of March, Ambassadör Events, will be organising an exclusive fundraiser, at the historically unique Verdala Palace under the patronage of H.E. The President of Malta, Ms Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, who will also be hosting the event. With a limited guest list of just 150 patrons, emanating mainly from the igaming industry, this gathering will be one of this year’s most anticipated charity events.

Since the event is being organised in aid of Kopin a Maltese non-profit organisation, Ambassadör Events has deemed it fitting to extend an invitation as special guest on the night, to none other than the extraordinary Rami Adham from Finland, better known as The Finnish Toy Smuggler.
An ongoing tale of extraordinary courage and generosity

Rami’s incredible story has gained him international recognition and the alias The Finnish Toy Smuggler, for helping children trapped in the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo – delivering not only vital aid, but also hundreds of toys, which even if for a short while, help distract the children from the terror and suffering they live through on a daily basis.

“Six years ago in Syria a war started and with it the worst humanitarian crisis the world has ever known since WWII – over 650,000 dead, 11 Million refugees and 70% of the country’s infrastructure destroyed. This crisis completely changed my life; since then I have devoted everything I do for the sake of helping my fellow countrymen” – Rami Adham, The Finnish Toy Smuggler

When Turkey closed its borders with Syria for security reasons, Rami trekked through unofficial channels to reach the most vulnerable in conflicted areas, travelling an astonishing twenty-nine times to Syria since 2012. Through donations from all over the globe and through various collaborations, Rami has managed to not only deliver thousands of meals and toys to the most vulnerable in Aleppo and beyond, but has managed to help in building three much needed schools in the region.
